  • Here is a recent project for Gordy.  It's an HO Proto 2000 Milwaukee 0-6-0 switcher.  Painted with Model Master paints and decals by DM Custom Decals.  Weathered with a variety of tinted Dullcote.
  • Here is a Bachmann 2-8-0 painted for Peter.  It's painted with Tamiya paints, decalled for the Boston and Maine, then weathered with tinted Dullcote with a variety of tints.  Uses a sound decoder from Digitrax and now is hauling freight on the layout.
  • Athearn HO flat car with tank.  Customer wanted tie downs and wheel chocks.  Weathered the flatcar with a variety of Tamiya paints.
  • Here is a 2-rail O scale Mike's Train House ES44AC GEVO.  All custom paint and printed decals and dry transfers.  It is a big engine!
  • Here is a model I recently built up and completed for a customer.  It's a Bowser HO scale engine with a can motor and extra details added.  It runs very well.  Painted with Tamiya and Testors paints.
  • Here are two HO scale cars representing the Crandic Railroad hopper cars from the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie railroad.  They will be on loan to the Iowa Children's Museum for use on their HO layout.
  • Here is an O scale brass Santa Fe waycar I painted for a customer in Hannibal, Missouri.  It uses Scalecoat paints and diluted Tamiya paint for weathering.  Scalecoat decals.
  • A recent painting and lettering project for a customer. HO scale. Bachmann Trains 2-8-0 painted with Tamyia and Floquil paints. Decals are Highball Graphics. Mild weathering.
  • Here is my newest customer.  4 year old AJ from Seattle, Washington just received delivery of his 5x8 Lionel layout.  AJ just moved to Seattle and the truck with all of his model trains has not arrived yet... Hang in there AJ, the trains will arrive soon.

  • This was the first locomotive I ever painted.  A Bachmann GP30.  I painted this in 1982.

N Scale Rio Grande

This is a 4x8 N scale layout built for a customer who likes the Denver Rio Grande railroad. Fully portable fitting in the back of a conventional Mini-Van

Tim's 4x8 HO Layout

This is a nice little 4x8 foot HO layout that was built from a plan in an Atlas track plan book. Laid with flex track and #6 turnouts, this design can handle almost all medium sized equipment.
